Eco 247 x Cat Lovers Festival 2025

Eco 247 x Cat Lovers Festival 2025

On October 25–26, we set up camp at the Melbourne Showgrounds for this year’s Cat Lovers Festival, and let us tell you — we showed up with zero expectations and left with full hearts (and zero litter boxes left to sell 😅). This year’s event was all about spreading the word about Eco 247’s plant-based cat litter and introducing the magic of our wheelie bin refill service to curious cat parents across Victoria. Day 1: A slow start… then boom! Saturday morning kicked off nice and slow — a few early chats, some familiar faces from past shows, and some quiet wondering if we brought too much stock… Then it hit. Crowds rolled in, and suddenly we were handing out sample bags left and right. We had dozens of chats about our refillable 48kg bins, and many of you jumped straight into our show deals without hesitation — thank you for trusting us from the get-go 💚 But the real MVP of the day? 👉 Our stainless steel litter boxes. We completely sold out, especially the XL versions (big kitty lovers, we see you). We truly didn’t expect such a wild response — next year, we’re bringing double. Day 2: Back with more (and prepared this time) After a buzzing Saturday, the team got to work restocking and reorganising. Sunday morning we came back with more trays, more signage, and more energy — even though someone (cough, Mark) may have accidentally napped through half his break 😴 We got to reconnect with our lovely breeder and rescue partners, had interviews with some of our favourite supporters, and welcomed back loyal customers who have been part of the Eco247 journey since the beginning. The vibe in the pavilion was electric — packed aisles, enthusiastic chats, lots of paws, and lots of love. Even the rain at the end didn’t dampen the fun — we wrapped up the show drenched but stoked. What we took away from the weekend Curiosity: So many of you had thoughtful questions about our litter types, bin service, and what makes us different — we love that.Support: Whether you were a new face or a returning fan, your kind words meant everything to our team.Validation: The response to our stainless steel litter boxes blew us away. We knew they were good — now we know they’re essential.Gratitude: For every breeder, rescue rep, customer, and passerby who took a chance on Eco 247 — thank you. Until next time… This show was one for the books. We came to share our story and left with new connections, new ideas, and a whole lot of inspiration to keep doing what we do — offering cleaner, greener, and smarter litter solutions for Aussie cat lovers. See you at the next event, #EcoFam! 💚

Eco 247 x Oz Feline Fair 2025

We had an incredible time at the Oz Feline Fair 2025, our first-ever show at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. From cat lovers and breeders to cattery teams and first-time visitors, the atmosphere was buzzing and the conversations were inspiring. Reuniting with familiar faces It felt like a big family reunion. We caught up with friends from 9 Lives Project, Clique Cattery, Shalida Cattery, and Hoppy’s Place among others. Seeing familiar faces and meeting so many of our customers in person reminded us just how strong and supportive the cat community truly is. A new era of cat litter: millet and cassava We brought along our newest plant-based cat litter blends, Millet and Cassava, and they were a huge hit. Visitors loved the soft texture, quick clumping, and natural odour control. Many cat owners were surprised by how lightweight and affordable these new blends are, especially after learning about our refillable bin system. It was great to see so much excitement about sustainable litter options that work well and reduce waste. Stainless steel litter boxes stole the show Our stainless steel litter boxes were one of the unexpected highlights of the weekend. So many visitors wanted to take one home on the spot. People loved their easy-to-clean design, sleek look, and long-lasting durability. For many new cat owners, it was the perfect upgrade for a cleaner and more hygienic litter setup. Great questions and good chats We had plenty of curious and thoughtful conversations throughout the event. The most common questions were about delivery, bin refills, and cost savings. We also had the pleasure of chatting with Steven Meserve, founder of Loving Cats Worldwide. Mark shared the story behind Eco 247 and our bin refill concept. It was exciting to see how much interest there was in sustainable litter systems, even from outside Victoria. The costume challenge and a happy winner No cat event is complete without some fun. The costume challenge brought lots of laughter, creative outfits, and great photos. The winner took home an Enclosed Stainless Steel Litter Box and an Active Carbon Pea Husk sample pack. Congratulations to the best-dressed kitty and their proud owner. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, asked questions, tried our litter, or simply came over to say hello. You made our first Oz Feline Fair an event to remember. We will be back for the Cat Lovers Festival in October 2025, and we cannot wait to see everyone again.
