Cat Litter FAQs

Absolutely! Each litter type is made from plant-based, biodegradable materials, these litters are a win for kitty comfort and the planet. Click here to learn more about each.

Kittens under 12 weeks are more likely to mouth or ingest litter out of curiosity. Their digestive systems are still developing, so even “safe” ingredients can be risky in larger amounts.

We recommend waiting until 12+ weeks before introducing our clumping or edible-ingredient-based litters.

Yes, our cat litter is fast clumping. The clumps form tightly and easily, making it simple to scoop out waste without breaking apart. This ensures a cleaner litter box and less mess. To find out which litter is the perfect choice for you, click here.

Yes, our pea husk and millet is water-soluble and dissolves in large amounts of water. Which It can be safely disposed of in compost or landfill where it will break down naturally. Cassava is not dissolvable or biodegradable.

No, it only dissolves in large amounts of water. So, your kitty's pee will turn into strong clumps.

While pea husk and millet technically is flushable in small amounts, we recommend disposing of used litter in the trash to avoid potential plumbing problems. It's best for the environment and your pipes! Cassava is not toilet-flushable.

At least 5-7cm of cat litter is the key to optimal odour control and performance.

If you're using a self-cleaning litter machine, ensure to add the recommended amount of litter in the unit.

For best results, keep your cat litter bin in a cool, dry place out of sunlight, preferably indoors. Moisture and heat can affect performance. If outdoors is necessary, invest in a protective cover to ensure optimal freshness.

For the best hygiene and to keep odours at bay, we recommend scooping out solid waste daily. You should also stir the litter to redistribute the clumps and add a bit of new litter, ensuring even absorption.

The duration of 2.3kg bag depends on how many cats you have and how often you scoop. Typically, a 2.3kg bag lasts for a single cat for about up to 5 days, but this may vary.

The duration of 12kg bag depends on how many cats you have and how often you scoop. Typically, a 12kg bag lasts for a single cat for about up to 2 months, but this may vary.

Firewood FAQs

Our firewood is kiln-dried to 8% moisture content. This means it lights faster, burns hotter, and produces less smoke and ash compared to green or air-dried wood. Learn more by clicking here.

Our compressed firewood bricks are made from recycled sawdust waste — collected from local timber manufacturers. The sawdust is compressed under high pressure (no glues, no additives) and kiln-dried. Each brick burns for up to 2.2 hours, giving you long-lasting, clean heat.

That depends on your needs:

  • Bricks = long, steady burn with minimal ash — perfect for heaters and overnight warmth.
  • Offcuts = fast-burning and hot — great for getting your fire going or topping up.

Most customers love using both together for the best performance.

Our offcuts come from local carpenters and furniture makers — we rescue hardwood that would otherwise end up in landfill. Our sawdust bricks are made from reclaimed timber waste, also saved from going to waste. No forest clearing. No logging. Just smart recycling.

Nope. No glues. No chemicals. No nasties. Our firewood is 100% natural, safe to burn indoors, and ideal for wood heaters, pizza ovens, smokers, open fireplaces, and the list goes on.

No stacking required. Our firewood is delivered in 240L wheelie bins — clean, easy to store, and reusable. Just roll it into your garage or shed. Way better than a loose dump on your driveway. Learn more by clicking here.

Usually just 2 to 3 bricks will keep a steady, warm fire going through the evening. Combine them with a few offcuts/kindling and you’ll have a blazing fire in minutes.

You bet! Our firewood pack a punch, burning hotter than traditional firewood because of its low moisture content. Get more bang for your buck (and warmth for your fire pit).

Compared to regular firewood, bricks offer excellent value. They burn hotter, so you need less, making them a budget-friendly choice for cozy nights by the fire.

Not ours. We use wood that already exists — offcuts and sawdust that would be dumped or burned as industrial waste. We simply transform it into usable firewood, reducing landfill and emissions. Plus, we plant a tree for every bin sold.

Bamboo Toilet Paper FAQs

Our toilet paper is manufactured overseas in China by an FSC-certified supplier, ensuring ethical sourcing and high production standards. While we design everything right here at Eco 247 HQ in Victoria, overseas production allows us to maintain quality and affordability — without compromising on sustainability.

Yes! Our rolls are made from 100% bamboo, which grows faster, uses less water, and doesn’t require replanting — making it one of the most sustainable fibres on Earth. Plus, our packaging is plastic-free.

Absolutely. Our toilet paper is septic-safe, biodegradable, and designed to break down quickly — perfect for home systems, off-grid setups, and caravans.

Let’s be real: some “eco” brands feel like they’re made from recycled sandpaper. Ours? Soft, strong, and 3-ply smooth — without the plastic wrapping or chemical bleach.

Nope. Just clean, unscented, 100% bamboo goodness — no inks, dyes, or perfumes. It’s the kind of roll your skin (and your conscience) will thank you for.

We’d love to — and we’re working toward that. But for now, bamboo toilet paper can’t be sourced locally in commercial volumes. Rather than using Australian trees, we opted for responsibly farmed bamboo from overseas to keep the product sustainable and affordable.
