How the $10 regional delivery charge works

Most of our delivery area gets free local delivery on orders over $100. On our outer runs — places like the Central Coast & Newcastle, Geelong and the Surf Coast, the Bellarine, Phillip Island & South Gippsland, Ballarat, Bendigo & Castlemaine, the Macedon Ranges and the outer Dandenongs — our drivers travel a lot further between stops, so a flat $10 regional delivery charge is added per delivery to keep these runs going. Tap “$10 regional areas” above the map to see exactly which areas it covers — everywhere else shaded on the map has no regional charge at all. Your result above tells you either way when you check your address.

A note on the Melbourne & Sydney CBDs

You'll notice the city centres aren't shaded — we don't run local wheelie-bin delivery into either CBD (postcodes 3000 and 2000). There's nowhere to park the van, and bins and high-rise apartments are a bad match. If you're in the city, we'll happily ship to you by courier Australia-wide instead, and our local runs pick up from the first suburbs outside the centre.

Delivery FAQs

Why won't my order go through for local delivery?
Local delivery needs two things: an order of $100 or more, and a delivery address inside one of the shaded areas on the map above. If your cart is under $100, or your address is outside our runs (or in the Melbourne/Sydney CBD), checkout will offer Australia-wide courier instead. Sydney customers: only our cat litter range is available for local delivery to start with, so a cart with toilet paper or firewood will fall back to courier too.
How does my wheelie bin get filled on run day?
Leave the bin out where our driver can reach it — you don't need to be home. Cat litter bins are refilled on the spot. Firewood bins are either refilled or exchanged for a full one, depending on which vehicle is on your run that day. Either way it happens on your normal run day — check your address above to see when that is. The service needs our own van, so it only runs in the shaded areas, never by courier. Cat litter bins run in Melbourne and Sydney; firewood is Melbourne only for now. Full details are on our Wheelie Bin Service page.
I'm outside the delivery zone (VIC & NSW), what do I do?
No problem — we ship Australia-wide by courier, with an 8:00am cut-off Monday to Friday and delivery fees calculated at checkout. Our local runs in Victoria and New South Wales are growing all the time, so check back — if your area is close to a shaded zone, it may well be added next.
I'm outside the delivery zone (Interstate), what do I do?
We ship Australia-wide by courier (8:00am cut-off, Monday to Friday, fees at checkout) — and local delivery is expanding — we now run our own vans in Melbourne and Sydney. Enter your address above to see if you're covered, and keep an eye out as more areas come online.

Sydney local delivery runs every second week — check your address above to see your day and your next delivery date. The Sydney range covers our cat litter products: 12kg boxes, bins of litter, 2.3kg bags, stainless steel litter trays and robot litter boxes. Toilet paper and firewood will follow as the Sydney runs grow, and pickups are planned for the new year.
