  • Usage & Disposal

Ensure you fill your tray to a minimum of 5cm. Scoop out solid waste daily, and dispose of it in the toilet(please refer to local council regulations before proceeding). If you prefer not to use the toilet, you can separate the urine clumps from the feces. Dispose of the urine clumps in both the green and red bins. The feces can only be placed in the red bins. The litter is also suitable for composting in your garden.

  • Additional Information

    • Transitioning to New Litter: Blend 75% old litter with 25% new for 4 to 7 days, gradually increasing the new litter amount.
    • Safe Consumption: Our litter is made from human-grade ingredients, making accidental consumption harmless. Consult your vet if your cat frequently eats litter.

    Cat wouldn't use it

We were on the lookout to find something more cost effective than crystal litter. However, 5 days in and our cat is refusing to use this litter. I've owned 6 cats over the years and have never experienced any of them refuse to use many different types of litter. So I cannot recommend

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience – we’re sorry to hear your cats hasn’t taken to the litter just yet. Every cat can respond differently to a new litter, and some may need a little more time to adjust than others.

May we confirm if you’ve filled the tray to a depth of around 5cm? This ensures proper clumping and absorption, but also because it gives your cats enough depth to dig and paw around. Sometimes, a lot more depth would provide your cats to get curious and play around to gain more comfort before using it. If you yet to do so, we also recommend a transitioning period by blending 75% of your old litter with 25% of the new litter for the first 4 to 7 days, gradually increasing the amount of the new litter each day. This slow switch can help even the fussiest of cats adjust without stress.

We genuinely appreciate your feedback and are here to help. It is very common to experience difficuilties with transitioning to a new litter so if you'd like any further help or have questions – we’re always happy to assist!

    Warm Wishes,
    The Eco 247 Team

    Cat litter

So far so good, kitten transitioned pretty quickly. The biggest issue is that our litter scoop catches slot of the actual litter, throwing a lot of good litter out. We’ll need to find a more suitable one.
