How to use our plant-based litter

1. Transition gradually

Start by mixing in about 25% of our litter with your current brand. Slowly increase until you’ve fully switched.

2. Maintain proper litter depth

Keep at least 5 cm of litter in the tray. Scoop and clean daily, and top back up to the same depth to avoid sticking.

3. Dispose responsibly

Dispose urine clumps and feces in the general waste bin only.

4. Refresh regularly

Replace the entire tray every 3–4 weeks. Wash the tray with hot water or mild detergent before refilling.

Best clumping little ever

Cassava has been great at clumping and the smell? Can’t notice a thing! The price is so much better compared to other brands for the same weight. I’d rather pay $5/kg than $7/kg where the cost of the packaging is applied too. In terms of usage, I’ve gotten 10 months supply as advertised to my surprise. I think filling up the tray takes a up a lot of litter and topping up is bit by bit not bad. My kittens are loving it.

Great Product, Doesn't Last

The product is great for absorption and neutralising smells, on that front it is the best cat litter we have used.
Unfortunately, the 48KG which was advertised as a years' worth, has only lasted 3 months. Because of this the product is not viable for us, at $250 for a 3 month supply I can't afford to buy it again.

No where near enough for the price

I am actually really disappointed with this litter. First time ordering I got the pea husk litter. With 3 cats it lasted almost 6 months, which is good (and about right, as eco247 says 1 year for 1 cat). Next order I got this more expensive cassava litter. Since last order apparently ALL the litters have less provided. But anyway - it’s been 8 weeks, and it’s run out. That’s it. 8 weeks, for that price!? Over $30 a week for cat litter. When it was “refilled” it was half empty still at least (I know it’s done on weight not volume, but it’s not enough provided for the price).
Additionally, this stuff STICKS to the side like you would not believe! It sets like concrete where it touches an edge. Can’t even scrape it off. It’s a pity because it’s nice and fine, clumps well, no dust… but insanely pricy for the tiny bit of litter provided. Not even close to the estimated time. 8 weeks for 3 cats. Debating if I should give it one more try, but don’t see why….so little litter for so high price.

super-fast clumping

I didn't believe it at first but it's true! It's very good at clumping into hard balls. I actually use it for my manual tray and it tracks but I don't care about it at all! The performance is amazing. My 2 cats are a fan of it :)

Disappointed. Lasted less than 3 months, with 1 cat.

This littler does not last 1 year got it delivered in the boxes and I only placed the order 6th may and didn’t start using it till the 27th may and 14 weeks later and I’ve got enough left for maybe 3 more days and that is including using and automatic litter box after 1 months of use. So if you have a cat who pees more to na once a day (and tiny pees at that) this litter does not last and is ridiculously expensive considering it lasted me less than 3 months. Super disappointed to be honest especially because the litter itself was great tho do wish the size of the granules was bigger as it tracks through the house like crazy compared to bigger size granules. So unless you have a cat who pees one small pee a day do not buy this litter if you expect it to last 1 year.
