Sweet, smart, and sure-footed
The Snowshoe was developed in the United States in the 1960s, when a Siamese breeder noticed kittens born with striking white feet. Crossing Siamese with bicolour American Shorthairs created this pointed cat with white 'snowshoe' paws.
Snowshoe kittens are born almost entirely white, and their points develop as they grow. Every cat's markings are a little different — and every one comes with a big, affectionate personality.
